How to backdate Initial State event?

This document provides guidelines on backdating initial state in case the vessel needs to start reporting from an earlier date.

Before you start to backdate your reporting, please check with Your office and StormGeo if you have the latest software version and latest configuration file on board imported. The latest config file is important to make sure you have relevant equipment to be displayed in the software like AE, Boilers, Power Packs, Cargo Cooling systems,….

  • Please open S-Insight Log software. Please go to the “voyage section” in upper side.

  • And open the first voyage. Backdate the “start” of the voyage to the date before the date/time of the Initial State you would like to enter.
  • Then please on the upper side open “events”
    • Then press on the “initial state”, and shift it to the day to a time when you was still in port. Please fill out all ROBs and the location etc. for this day.
    • Then press “check” and “save”.

  • Please then continue reporting with the normal event sequence. E.g. Noon port, Departure, Begin seapassage, Noon sea,….
